Question: If you have a buff with partridge or grey smutt verses a buff with white smutt (like on the wings, at the end), would it be better to go with the white smutt to breed - to get better buffs?

Can I revive this thread to ask a question? I recently hatched 5 buff chicks. On 4 of them I can see grey on their feathers that are coming in. It's almost speckled. Some worse then others. I've just read that this is "smutty"...? Where can you purchase quality hatching eggs?
