Thats because it is your profile option if you want your awards to show or not. Those awards is so small it will make no difference.

This is what the (?) says next to the Hide User Awards option

Hide User Awards

This preference allows you to hide all user awards from thread pages.


It says hide ALL user awards, not my own. If it is for only hiding your own awards, the wording should be changed.

Without reading all 14 pages, I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but I couldn't upload pictures using Firefox. I had to go back and use IE to do so. I was able to upload pics using Firefox before, so I don't think it's a Firefox add-on or settings issue.

Apart from that, not many issues, just learning to navigate the new site. I don't particularly care for the reviews & ads on the right, but I'll just ignore them.

My question: I have tried to place a classified add for hatching eggs, I read the FAQ sheet over & over. When I complete my add, I cannot "submit" I do not see a "save this xxx" as mentioned in the instructions. Am I blind?

Is there a thread for issues that aren't really bugs, and not necessarily problems? If so, I can't locate so I'll post here. Apologies in advance if I've missed something...

In the buy/sell/auction forum, there is no longer an option to sort by location. This option is useful to have, especially to those who offer their wares for pickup and those who would prefer to pick up rather than have the items shipped.

I actually did try Opera mini, but it will not work properly, can't use the tabs at the top of the BYC page - just keeps going to "join" no matter what I select. Had to uninstall it.

I see all those things. I think it's because it's your own profile, because I don't see those on my postbit either. Don't really need to follow ourselves, do we?

I don't just want to follow myself, I want to stalk myself. Is that an option for general members the new BYC, or do I need to pay for Golden Feather to be able to do that?

I have no problem doing that. Not only can I do it with the little picture icon above the edit window (in either the posting window or edit my page window), but I can just drag an image and drop it in here.

Thats what I just did with the picture below. I dragged it from a separate FF window, it's posted on another site I frequent, and I dropped it in here. Then I grabbed one corner of the picture and sized it down smaller. Reallly easy!
