PDZ is the material that you use to sprinkle on the poop boards, originally meant for horse stalls. I'm not sure if it has the consistency of sand, but the Feed stores usually carry it. It's like using kitty litter.

Oh! I thought it was the actual board. Thanks for explaining that to me.

I'm putting up a new one in my horse stall that I'm converting for chickens. I got two 6 step stair stringers and four 8 foot long 1x4 boards that I'm going to screw to them. Looks like it's going to work out perfectly
