If you go to the search box and type in duck houses you'll see lots of threads and pics. Just remember ducks need lots of ventilation in their house even if just kept in the over night, to be sure they have good air flow, ammonia can build up pretty fast with them pooping in their house They can get something called Aspergelous [sp] or brooder pneumonia it can kill them. so good air flow is a must. That is a good idea on needlessjunks house living in TX they can get away with only 3 sides and a roof. So think about where you live to as they type of house would be best for your ducks.Great thanks :-D
Very nice! The Duck Coop, Its about 12-16 feet long. 8-10 feet wide. Wired with hardware cloth at the bottom 2 feet to keep Fox's out. With a DuckLoo in and their duck house.
Their Duck House, is made out of Free Pallets, We used extra pallets to fill in the missing area's. It keeps rain out, keeps the ducks Dry and warm during a storm. Is small enough that they love to lay eggs in it, but big enough that 3 full grown ducks. Including one pekin likes to pile in during a storm.
There is a watering system in the enclosure so there wasn't any needed inside the "House"
Very nice!only thing worrisome is where the gate is looks like a mink could easily slip in there. They are suppose to be able to get through 1" openings.
