Was thinking the same.
My Dad and I had a thing about 'real red'....yours would fit in the barn category.

Todays work , I set the other mid support on the far side of the run , I did pour concrete under both these 2 x 4's so they are helping support the run roof . To keep them from moving in or out I bored 7/8" holes in 2 x 4's both sides of support and pinned them with 7/8" x 24" re bar driven into the ground .

After that I worked on the trim until I ran out of trim , gotta go pick up more supplies .

Little by little.....it's looking good!

Watch that the birds don't dig under the concrete, maybe it's deep enough not to matter.
But those little buggers are digging demons, I keep a stack of bricks and pavers around for when ever I find a new excavation.

Thanks . I don't think the birds will dig under the concrete at those center posts , it's about 24" deep .

Do you have an apron around the outside of the run?
They may dig under it from inside the run.

That's why I said they are going to need wire cutters too . I'll be going 1' straight down with the hardware cloth when I install it on the run walls and also am going to hog ring a 2' wide apron to that .
