All 'dried' in!
Have a good trip!
Apple Red Candy.
It can indeed be true....unless you caulk all around trim boards after they are installed. However, my husband objects and says trim only traps moisture underneath itself and is generally not a good idea... Is that true?
I’ll caulk it then, thanks. It can indeed be true....unless you caulk all around trim boards after they are installed.
@adirondak5 did you put anything under the trim boards? I want to put trim on my coop now, seeing how pretty it looks on yours, and also as added protection/barrier on top of my OSB edges, which are most susceptible to weather damage. The boards and edges will still be painted, so covering them with trim will be just an extra precaution (with the bonus of looking nice). However, my husband objects and says trim only traps moisture underneath itself and is generally not a good idea... Is that true? Do I need to put anything underneath it to prevent that? Neither of us is a pro at this or even very experienced...
