You will need to get rid of the males before maturity anyways....
Also, try giving them some just straight protein.
You mean to cull them? The chicks less than a month are eating Chick booster (integra 1000 mixed with baby stag booster). While the chicks outside more than a month is eating chick starter-grower (integra 2000)

Not necessarily. I mean, I assumed the male to female ratio was uneven, because you said you had one female and one male. If that’s not the case, because you have more females, then it’s fine.

Do you know what breeds these are, or are they just "backyard mixes" with no specific breed?

I think maybe crowding are a factor here too, though it's hard to tell just how big each cage is and how many birds are in each one specifically by looking, but if they don't have space and things to do, plus a good diet (I'm not familiar with your chicken feeds nor labeling requirements in the Philippines, but it sounds like you're buying proper chicken feed), they can turn on each other due to stress from lack of space and boredom.

It does sound like they may be overcrowded.

I moved the chicks with mother hen to outdoor fence cage. Separated into dog crate are the 4 injured chicks also inside the fence cage where their mother and other 3 siblings are. Hope this will help as they have large space already. Will create more cages for the 4 chicks which are already weaned by their mother.

These are mixes of our Philippine native chicken and also Texas breed.

is it safe for the 4chicks with wound/bald spot on the back near tail junction? they escaped the dog kennel and went to their mother and siblings. It is night time here, and i cannot see underneath as they (7) are all under the hen. Will it be okay if i'll just wake up early before sun rises tomorrow and hope to get and place them again on the dog kennel? Will they get worse or die? Will the other siblings see at dark and peck them? They are on natural dirt soil as outside in the yard just enclosed with fence cage. Will purchase Quickheal(Oxytetracycline+ gentian violet) spray tomorrow as they are already outside for bigger space, to coat and prevent infection/flies.

The siblings will probably start picking at the bald spots if they have access to them but I doubt they'd do anything worse than that.

Will it draw severe blood wound? Or just curiosity? Is it safe for them to mingle with each other? Or do separation really is needed?
