Show me a teen aged male with tact, and I'll pinch you to wake you up!

But seriously, there seems to be some unwritten rule in our society, that women must hate their bodies. It seems to serve no purpose, beyond keeping the plastic surgeons busy adding and subtracting what their patients deem undesirable. Sad but true, people are drawn to "attractive" people. The funny thing is, what keeps people around is what's on the inside. The old ad with Jack Palance had it right - self confidence is sexy!

Moochie, there is an important life lesson you need to learn.

That is: when someone else is an idiot, you are in no way responsible. It's his problem, don't make it your problem.

The same applies to bullying and name calling. It reflects very badly on th bully and has nothing to do with you.

You just work on being the best person that you can be and don't worry about his boorish manners.

I would have told him, rather coldly, that my body was none of his business and refused to allow him to engage me in the conversation. You do not have to stand there and listen to criticism. It is perfectly OK to just walk away.

The Princess is 5' 7" +. When we got married she weighed 93 pounds. Our daughter 5' 5" weighed 90 pounds when she got married. Both are beautiful, healthy women. Do not allow someone else's evaluation of your appearance have any impact whatsoever. If I could do so without getting banned, I would tell you what my daughter said to some kid that was commenting on her modest bust size. After one cut down in front of a group, ALL smart mouth boys left her alone.

Gotta love people jumping to anorexia conclusions. I have had several people gently take me aside and inform me that they're here for me.
"What are you talking about?"
"...Evelyn, do you have an eating disorder?"
"No..." The funny part is that I'm completely normal, not super-skinny. It's just how little I usually eat. The other night my mom asked me at dinner if I was anorexic.
Anyway, I second what Paula said. Don't let them get to you. That means that they win, and we can't have that.

And if he keeps it up, maybe get some higher-up help.

I'm in my 60s now - and I've battled my weight for as long as I can remember - always weighing too much. Lord knows I've never had a "too skinny" problem. However, once when I was in my 30s I went on a diet and lost some weight. At one point when I still had 15 or so more pounds to lose, I had someone tell me I need to STOP or I'd become anorexic. I still laugh when I think of that. Some people just say ridiculous things.

I too have been under weight all my life. I was in the store buying food one day and the lady in the check out lane ahead of me, turned around and looks at me and says " God your so skinny don't you ever eat????" Well after years and years of comments about how skinny I am I let her have it... My response was "God you so FAT don't you ever stop eating???????"
She look totally embarressed and din't say another word to me. I always say if I could bottle up my metabilisum I would be a rich woman. and as pointed out earlier...
My boobs don't sag

Mom was around 95 pounds. Big sis & youngest sis have never weighed more than 90 pounds I don't believe. I was 108 pounds till I got out of collage. We all can put away some food... That changed after 30 though. I'm about 150 now..

Nothing wrong with being skinny as long as its natural...

Sad part, I would put money on it that the boy actually thought he was hitting on ya...

Skinny is good, I was 165 at graduation and am now 205 at 48 and could lose about 15 pounds. There is another condition called dyslexia anorexia. Rosanne Barr said she had it.

Next time he says something that stupid point out that men are supposed to have testicles but he seems to be managing without them.

This was fairly close to what my daughter said to that kid who was mocking her. She included some other body parts in her comment.
