thank you sammi!! I have posted my worries so hopefully I can get this resolved! My chick seems to be doing a little better as far as eating and drinking more. She still can't get around very well. I have tried the aspirin water but I am not sure if it is strong enough or if it is working at all. I put a baby aspirin in 1/2 gallon of water. Should it be stronger?
We are definitely no strangers to taking care of special needs animals! It is just that both my husband and I work all day 5 days a week. And if this chick needs to be held to eat and drink, she would surely die from starvation and dehydration. We can't bring ourselves to cull this chick. It would be easier if the chick were fully grown. Babies, I can't do it. So please, if anyone is near the area and would love to take care of this chick, please let us know!!
