Just under 2 weeks ago my hen had a prolapse, this resolved and she recently got the implant to stop laying. However a result from the prolapse is leaking urine. It bothers her as she spends alot of time trying to clean her self but the other hens are also pecking her bum/belly (not vent) where the urates are dribbling down. It looks sore anyway from urine burns but we clean her 3 times a day and put a barrier cream to help but nothings working. Ive seen this evening some fresh scabs on her bum where the other girls have been pecking her. Anyone have any ideas to help stop? Ive looked at anti pecking spray but a lot of review state they dont work. Looked at chickens nappies too but dont want an accumulation of poo building up in it. Any ideas or help would be appreciated
