Great idea but not always feasible that is why we offer alternatives. But yes if a vet is an option then by all means go that route. @onaharley used a vet with her ducks and their bumble.

I get why people suggest alternative treatments, but I read in one of OP's responses she could take the duck to a vet. Proper vet care, if available, should always be the first choice.

Hello..Soak the foot in anything to soften the infection. Try picking in out as one lump. Then apply antiseptic spray and keep the Bird on Clean bedding. Take it to a Vet if needed.

Okay, I will be looking for Epsom salt tomorrow... Is her foot bad? Can it be treated without going to a vet? I'm new to ducks.. Only have had them a little over a year.

That looks pretty serious to me and if I were you and could afford a ve, that's what I would do. Vets here charge $45 to $65 for an exam, which is a good place to start. If you did that you could discuss conservative vs aggressive treatment options.

Because this is your first case of Bumblefoot and it's a doozy I would encourage you to take the duck to a vet. They'll debride it and show you how to properly clean the wound, and it is a wound. Once that core comes out, the duck's going to have a crater in her foot. The vet will prescribe some antibiotics and an anti-inflamatory/pain medication.

Absolutely if a vet is an option for you do it. They can prescribe an oral antibiotic to help it heal faster I bet.
But I can't throw stones I pretty much have to treat mine on my own.. No-one close to me really knows anything about birds. Where I live ducks aren't considered that valuable and most people just cull sick birds

I can't really afford a vet at this time, if there's one even around here that would treat ducks.

What does she do?

Sometimes when she quacks, she bobs her head down and to the side.. the same side with the bumble-foot.

My Runners do that it’s flirting. I doubt omit has anything to do with the bumble. Does she do it when she is around the drakes
