Bumblefoot aftercare question

We just removed the scab/infection from chicken foot. Cleaned, used vetricyn and wrapped up. Question is, should I continue to do epsom soaks now that infection is out? My instincts are telling me no... Why would you soak a now open wound while its trying to heal? Just making sure Im not missing something. Hen is doing great atm, want to make sure she heals up.

After two days, remove the bandage and check the progress of the wound. You will be able to tell if healing is progressing or if infection and inflammation remains.

If it looks like the wound isn't progressing, you will need to soak again and remove any pus. Then wrap and check again in two days.
