And I noticed today his eye... is this bad? I thought it might be iodine from him rubbing on himself but will this hurt him?? The other eye is fine.

Oh and also, I’ve been wondering this for a while but have never asked... I call it the “victory lap”. Whenever Quakers finishes mating he dismounts and then even if he’s on land or in the water he stretches out his neck and does a circle around Donald, the female.
Is this duck language or something? Does anybody know what this means?

I’m worried that it’s something bad and if it is iodine, will it stay like that forever and will it hurt him all the time?

Has he been washing his eyes out good in a bucket of water? You can add some ACV to it 1 tab to a gallon let him wash his head and drink it’s good stuff. The best is the ACV with mother but reg will work in a pinch. Maybe he has dirt in there?
