Terramycin antibiotic spray is for pinkeye. I use it on all open wounds on all our animals. The one I have is blue spray and the cetrigen is also a wound spray for livestock , without the antibiotics. It's pink.

A ' must have ' in the first aid box.
Not sure if we can get Terramycin in spray here i know we can in ointment and the blue spray sounds like Blue kote here in the US will write these down and check if available. I use Veterycin often here for wounds and infections and is safe to use in the eyes. Butr always looking for other meds to add.

Thanks everyone whose responded, it means a lot to me that people actually care. :)

It looks like one that may have already healed. It wouldn't hurt to spray it with Terramycin or cetrigen to prevent infection.

I check my cats & Quackers at least every other day for anything. Maybe it's just a very mild case? Don't understand why he'd get it. Only time he is cooped up is when he's sleeping. Would neosporin work as it's the only thing I have on hand right now? Won't be able to get anything else till Friday.

Are we talking about gentian violet?

That's what I was thinking it was.

Do they sell this in feed stores or on Amazon? What else would you recommend in a first aid box?

My ducks come and go and quite often damage their feet on rocks and blackberry thorns. Even jumping down and landing hard on the pad can start it off.
My first aid box is extensive as horses are always getting into trouble . The poultry part has
1. Terramycin spray
2. Amprolium
3. Safeguard
4. Avian vitamin pack
5. Epsom salts
6. Chlorsig eye drops
7. Vet wrap
8. Activated coal tabs
9. Broad spectrum water soluable oral antibiotic
10. Vicks vapor rub.
11. Lice and mite spray and sulphur powder to sprinkle the coop.
12. Virkon disinfectant spray.
Of course I add things when required but that is my ' base' kit.
On this site you can purchase the Terramycin ointment . Remember that it is a cattle product , when you are searching. I hear a lot of folk on this site recommending vetericyne which is also available on this site. The neosporin will do for now.

Update: Checked both his feet again today.

Sorry for not the best of pictures, Quackers doesn't like being on his back & I had to have my four year old take the pictures while I held him lol.
I touched them & it didn't bother him at all. Could it just be sores from running around on hardwood floors? Or just from him grooming his feet & just scabbed himself because of the hook in his beak? I only ask because he's gotten me on top of my foot & the scab is the same size. Also yesterday he didn't have anything on his other foot & today he has a tiny scab there in the same place as the other one.

Awesome, thank you so much for that list. :hugs What is the Vicks used for?

Ahh interesting, another reason Vicks is awesome lol. I've been wondering, do ducks get fleas? I know they like eating them as Quackers picks at my cats lol.

Vicks is awesome ! We smear it around the nostrils of new calves to prevent bot flies laying their eggs in the sinus cavity. Never seen fleas on the ducks , but have seen a tick on a duck. Add pure tea tree oil to that list. Just a dab on the ticks butt will make him let go.
