Bumblefoot surgery bleeding won't stop

Yes, apply the ointment directly onto the wound, and rebandage with new bandage once daily. The scab should stay a reddish color. If it starts to really look yellow, this can indicate more pus. Judging from your picture I think it will heal just fine. :)

And not every scab on the bottom of a pad requires surgery, many tiny ones heal on their own. Yours obviously needed surgery.

Keep us posted! :)

They appear to be healing nicely! Just remember, its going to take about 30+ days to fully heal over. So keep those feet dry and clean, rebandage daily for a while and apply ointments each time you rebandage. After about 2 weeks you don't have to check or rewrap daily, you can let a few days go by before checking and rewrapping. After 4 or so weeks, the scabs will fall off and the feet should be healed with new skin. You can stop bandaging after scabs fall off.

Keep up all the loving care! :)
