Update: scab is looking ok (I realise that it looks black in the photo, but it's a nice dark red in person). There's no warmth or anything like that from the site. He does have large pads, it's not swelling.

That is a huge improvement from Friday till today. It looks like a lot of the swelling has subsided. Obviously there is still a way to go, but congrats on a job well done!

Those claws! I cut more than half off and then wore down a whole nail file. Chicken treadmills with sandpaper surfaces should totally be a thing
