Hi all,

Sorry... I've seen this as been adressed a zilion times here, but... Well, I'm noob and I'm a bit lost... Apreciate your opinion please... Before I do something wrong trying to cure a wrong disease.

This is a Portuguese White, 8 months old, good appetite, difficulty in walking (obviously), apparently no other health issues... Took a look under the feet and I can't see any scabs... Unless they're really small and hidden under the dirt, that I confess, didn't clean yet... Only bird in the flock with this problem.

I was told to cut it open and pull out a yellow "cheeselike" substance then bandage it up.

Since it is caused by an infection of a cut, it should be easy to find a cutting spot. Go to the source of the infection.
