Bump at base of tail feathers.

So my lavender hen who is 2 months has a bump at the base of her tail feathers. Its as round as a dime and she doesn't like me touching it. There are know soars around it or wounds. What could it be, and how should i treat it?

It sounds as if it might be an irritated oil gland.
