My Easter Egger is also laying eggs with some bumps on them. This has been going on for about 3 weeks and it occurs on the majority of the eggs but not all of the eggs. She is about 6 months old now and gives me almost an egg a day steadily. Sometimes the bumps are small and sometimes the are fairly large. I have been reading about calcium deposits and that makes sense but I am wondering why none of my other hens are doing the same thing. Are Easter Eggers more prone to this? If anyone has some insight it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless.
