Cherry had a bit of an adventure today. She came into the house and she got a lesson on how to play chess.



She seemed to enjoy it especially when She ran over the board knocking pieces everywhere.

Here are some pics of the chicks running around outside under my constant supervision. They are Ann, Cherry and Bluebell.

Here is an update on Skylar, Minnie and the other chickens. Skylar and Minnie have settled in quite well but being about half the size of the bigger chickens, are still a little scared of them. Anyway here are the pics.

Skylar has the blue face and Minnie has the red face and comb.

I always liked the Buff Orpingtons.

She has always been one of the sweetest hens in my flock. I used to have a couple more but they died a while ago.

Do you have any?

Cool I have never heard of that breed before. Are they very good egg layers?

They're only 7 weeks old right now.

I have 19 more going on lockdown on Sunday!!
Wednesday is the 21 day.
Hopefully I get a good hatch.

How are you managing your flock with all the mixed ages??
I know about all the integrating stuff and all that but like do you have a different pen for each age or something else?

BTW your chicks are cute!
