Butchering

Wanted to know how some of you all that have doves butcher and clean them??????

I need to know this too.. I have an overpopulation of my pigeons and can't sell them... So I would like to cull the less attractive ones and eat them... I really love pigeon pie!

Just want to know how to do it quickly with not too much mess.

I pet lovingly to relax them, then pop head off, then get under neck skin hole and peel back off. Mostly breast meat eaten, but i eat whole thing minus intestines and bones. Id rather take my birds quick quiet and humane.
