Button Quail Questions

I've read a few threads and researched but the info seem to be conflicted...so asking if you have experience with:

- Housing Coturnix and Buttons together
- Housing Buttons outside (drops down to -20C or -4F in Winter)

Can you please share your experience? Thanks!

No on the first one, and I wouldn't on the second eithet

Coturnix and buttons shouldn't be housed together. The coturnix are so much larger that they would injure your buttons if not kill them.

Buttons are not nearly as cold hardy as coturnix quail, so unless you're providing heat for them, they're not going to suvive the cold. They are native to tropical areas in southeast Asia.
