Button Quail Size

I have sent pictures of my both quails, when you see then reply me , i will tell you which one male and which one female as my thought.

These look more like Japanese quail, one Tibetan coloured and one Rosetta. Neither can be visually sexed. Sometimes only the dominant male will crow. They take awhile to settle into new surroundings and can take up to 12 weeks to start laying. Any changes to their environment can stress them and stop them laying eggs. Just cleaning them out can make them skip a day! Hope that helps. And I hope you get some eggs soon!

It's very rare for a coturnix quail to hatch her own eggs - most of the time, when it does happen, the hen is kept in an aviary cage outside with grass and other plants, this can *sometimes* make them want to sit on their eggs, but many don't, and others give up.

You would have much better luck making your own incubator to hatch the quail eggs yourself :)
