Problem is, Ebay no longer allows sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers. It can only be neutral or positive
I'm wondering whether this falls under 'Feedback Extortion':
"Buyers are not allowed to threaten sellers with negative Feedback, neutral Feedback or low Detailed Seller Ratings in order to obtain goods or services not included in the original listing. "
So far I have a feedback score of 100% from 39 buyers.
Giving the refund does NOT guarantee you get the positive feedback.
And you get ONE chance to defend yourself, if this is an Ebay transaction.
I dont know what I would do personally. But I am leaning to no refund. It was shipped priority and you can not control USPS or the weather.
This is why I wouldnt order chicks until the weather was "warmer" either.
April and May thats perfect. Heck I stop making and shipping fudge mid April.
Yes definately make sure you save the e-mail where she is bribing you for her good feedback...
As a seller I'm not sure I would give bad feedback to this customer even if I could, she's just one of those customers that come around every so often, and you have to deal with it.. honestly I woud be upset too, but to demand a refund and bribe for feedback is not something I would do...
Maybe just send her new eggs, letting her know that if this time they are damaged again, too bad.. in a nicer way of course...
I have gotten scrambled eggs with it being marked...labeled or not is not the issue to me. There was a shipping problem not an egg issue. I would offer to send replacement eggs or refund the egg price but not the shipping. That is the gamble in shipped eggs. Lots of good opinions though.

I fell for this twice, I was bribed by 2 customers that werent happy with thier "CUSTOM ORDERS"
I do not offer refunds at all ever.. They were really unhappy with thier items.. and being the nice person I am (was) I promptly refunded their complete purcahses including shipping, and ended up with negative feedback anyway... And they did not even mention I gave a full refund plus let them keep the item!!! be careful.. don't refund...

Yup. If it's 22* there, nothing you write on the box would have made a difference, IMO.
If this person is as knowledgeable as they claim, they wouldn't have ordered them in that temp, anyway.
I honestly think you'll end up with a neg either way. This sounds like a Veruca Salts wanna be temper tantrum'ing buyer.
Oh yeah and how do they know the eggs are frozen? I know when ours freeze b/c they are cracked...yet they mention they KNOW they are frozen so won't even bother putting them in the `bator. Hmmm...who's to say they aren't just pulling this b/c they want a refund?
I hate this side of selling. Hate. it. I'd probably eat it and refund hoping they don't mess up your fb since 1 neg out of 39 positives is going to drop your rate really low, but not happily and against my better judgement.
