Well, I have to agree with Birch Run Farm. I also live in VT (my partner is a cop) and I am generally a liberal. But I see very very little issues with guns up here. Everyone has them, everyone hunts and knows how to use a gun safely. Guns are much more normal up here than the rest of the country? Maybe.

Our government clearly wants a nation of sheep. Fleece the flock, cull what needs culling and feed them. Easy work if you can get it. And we keep our current political system in power why? (and the escalation in creating a nation of sheep started in earnest 8 years ago- Obama has nothing to do with it so far. The guy's been in office a whole 4 days so far. Not fair to blame the Dems when so much damage to personal rights has been accomplished on the Repubs watch)

This is the 4th anti-Obama-flavored thread I've read on this forum in just the last few minutes...just something I find interesting, since we weren't even allowed to discuss the U.S. presidential inauguration on inauguration day

Why all the hating, already? My mom voted for McCain, but immediately the day after the election, she was 100% supportive of the candidate who was chosen by the people.

We've lost so many civil rights in the last decade, it's shocking. Get informed, get organized, and do something constructive about it. You can. We ALL can.

I would like to add that Obama will sign executive orders if Congress doesn't do what he wants done. I'd also like to add that Obama is only a front person, just as Bush and Clinton, for a more controlling group of people that call the shots. Obama will do everthing he is told to do and most will blame or thank him. Just please remember, it is a globalist policy. I personally voted for Chuck Graham. I work very closely with groups around the state and country regarding politics and I can say it is no longer politics. It is a matter of how much the American people are willing to put up with. Please fight back against the globalist agenda. I will try to refrain from talking politics; however, there are many things they are going to try and do to keep us from raising our own food. PM me for details regarding any of the attempts to take our freedoms.
