Awesome! Now, this might be a stupid question, but... Is the American only in North America and the European only in European countries? Also, what's the difference between the two?

Yep, and other taxonomic and name updates include the split of the House Wren into Northern House Wren and Southern House Wren, all the Redpolls were lumped into one species (just Redpoll), and Night Heron is no longer hyphenated.

Gorgeous! I got to see a starling close up as my cat caught one the other day and I’m the designated burier for those kinds of things. I know, kinda sad circumstances, but I got a really good look at the feathers, and they’re just amazing.

Night Heron is no longer hyphenated.

Sounds so unnecessary, like I get the reasoning, but...

Very invasive but they can't help being here.

For Grouse or Quail I painted a male Coturnix for the American Coturnix Association. I didn't want to bring all my watercolors home with me so I just skipped a day ahead and will do Beach Bum tomorrow.

I did the sketch a while ago in preparation so I could just paint it all at once.

I think this is the best bird you’ve done yet!
The undertones are perfect, you really captured their iridescence.

I like Pratincoles because they are shorebirds bird look like swallows

Never heard of them before. They are so cool! Great sketch too!
