I love the BYC calendar and wish I had a coffee table book with photos in that format (and submitted by members of their own chickens). The book would be organized by breed and would be sort of a breed reference that includes barnyard mixes and a special section for other species (e.g. emus, peacocks). It wouldn't need to be hard bound, but would require heavier binding to accommodate the large page size, high quality paper, and number of pages.
It would be a lot of work for BYC and significantly more expensive than a calendar, but would make a very nice gift.
EDIT: Having a book like that would be special because it would include photos of chickens not limited to those achieving the standard of perfection. It's nice to see the variations within a breed; there are many books with perfect chickens and I haven't seen one with plain old regular hatchery or backyard stock sweethearts.
