I'm so glad you feel better!!:celebrate
I do! I can still walk fully upright and without leg pain. BUT the pain meds I got while sedated wore off during the night.

I've got Percocet and I took one this morning at 6. Can take every 4 hrs as needed. Right now, my ice pack is working well.

I had C&R take me to run an errand this morning.

I just delivered a bouquet of flowers with a thank you card to my surgeon and 10 donuts to her staff.

Then we went over to the ambulatory surgery area and delivered 4 dozen donuts to them. I also gave donuts to the security guard, front desk staff, a worker in the hall that helped get me to the surgical suite and the receptionist in the waiting room that helped get me a bed more quickly.
Fun, fun! ☺️

Now I'm relaxing with Piper on my lap hoping I can doze off, although I don't feel tired. I only slept about 3 hours last night.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I've given up on Jody. She keeps looking at the chicks but won't call them to her and won't go get them. She's been locked out of the ward. I'll have to raise the little buggers myself. Jody just had her last opportunity to be a mother. She's officially done. No more setting for her.

I am FINALLY sleeping well. I am only taking my pain meds every 8 hours instead of every 4 and using lots of ice to control pain/inflammation at the surgical site between doses. Still walking normal but the site is for sure very sore. I am moving cautiously and I think today will be a very lazy day indeed with lots of naps. I am looking forward to it!

I have a huge clear breathable bandage over the incision. It's called Second Skin, like what covered my tattoo when I got it. I cannot see it and don't really want to. I think the incision has been glued together. The bandage comes off Friday and that is when I can get my back wet.
