She cut out the bulges, debrided the arthritis from my discs everywhere she could reach, and there was some other growth in there that was pressing on the nerve that she removed. I don't know what that was but I will find out. She was unconcerned about it. And she was able to apply the steroid to the nerve.

The surgical wounds I feel and hurt but they are nothing compared to the nerve pain. I have a higher pain tolerance than most so I was just in a positively jovial mood when I woke up. When back in my room I was moving around very well, ate, drank and peed with no issues at all. Perfectly normal for all intents and purposes.
That's fabulous!

So ya only had to bend a little bit? ;)
I think they meant no bending like you do to load a dishwasher, put something on the floor, put your shoes on. I have to bend to sit down. I just try to keep my back flat. I try not to arch it too much either. I'm trying to minimize flexion in the lumbar region. But I do stretch like you do first thing in the morning. I think it's important not to get stiff.

Well the first nap was a doozy! 5 hours. I'm going to do whatever my body tells me it wants. Today will be a sleepy day!

I just took a stroll out to check on the peepers. They seem happier without having to avoid Jody. I pushed the door open to the run (with my bottle brush, Nurse Aart!) and they are out enjoying farting around in the dappled sun.

How the hell am I going to tell the difference between these three GLWs?

I'm late, but I come bearing fresh coffee.

Only to get the scrub brush.
Bunch o' wisenheimers here, huh? I keep it on top of the brooder framing. Waist height.

I mean, think about it. There will be SOME bending here... it's not like I'm going to pee down my leg!
