MORF did not get his license the other day and he was not a happy camper.

The pain in my hip is back. The nerve fibers take a while to heal. I guess it's going to be my companion for a while longer.
I desperately want a shower. I don't know if the bandage will come off in the shower or if I have to take it off first.

Not necessarily expected, but possible.

They gave you no instruction?

They gave them to my sister, who gave them to me the day of surgery and I've since forgotten. I remembered I could shower today. That's all.
I couldn't get a hold of sister to ask so I called the office and I went ahead and took my shower while I waited for them to call me back. I called my niece to come up and get the bandage off with adhesive remover swabs. There are 9 steri strips holding the incision closed. The nurse said to let the soapy water run down my back and rinse well but don't rub it at all. They'll fall off when they're ready.
