BYC Café

This is a much better frame of mind to have than to say the day was wasted.
With the way my life has been the last several years, I learned to be very flexible and always find the silver lining on the cloud.
I try to look for the silver lining too. Or at least say, what harm was done? None, really. Used up some gas in the car. 🤷‍♀️

I always look for the good.

My hubby always finds the worse way to see things.

As they say I have a half full glass and he has a half empty glass.

Good morning y'all, it's going to be a blessed day! I to am enjoying a cup of Folgers coffee on this brisk not quiet chilly morning. Waiting for the sun to rise, go wake up my girls
I got my 7 Rhode Island reds and 1 spotted chicken about 4 1/2 months ago. When my husband and I bout our land a few years ago, we talked about the different animals we wanted to raise, first I wanted to try raising chickens. Later I would like to try raise goats.
From day one we have put on a routine together, when the sun comes up the girls get fresh food and water and we say good morning to each other.
I do have a dog who adores the chickens, he looks out the window periodically thru the day to check on the girls, when he is outside he'll walk up to their fencing as if to say "Hello"

After a week of cool dry breezy days, the garage has dried out.
Warmer today and more tomorrow, then more rain and cooling back off.

Lots of feathers on the board this morning, I hate how they get caught in the sifter basket. Sold the last couple dozen eggs this morning, well, traded for a few tomatoes and a quart of home canned peaches(best I've ever had anywhere).
I heard a flock of geese headed north.
Summer's on the wane.

Even though it's a sign of summer over, I do miss hearing the geese fly by.

I've got a view almost like that out my front door.
