We're going to a funeral today. He was the co-founder of the company hubby and I used to work for. Hubby worked with him; I came along later, so I only knew of him.

The cat left me a headless wonder this morning...
I am also on the verge of hating apples, LOL! I had to go get another slowcooker as my old one decided that high and extreme heat was the only way to go. ........#####!!!!!!!!
The best part though was that I got to have an early dinner with my BFF on the slowcooker run. She travels to visit her elderly Mom quite often and we don't seem to cross paths very much, so that was a wonderful 3 hrs spent catching up in person!
Thank you for kicking the bucket, Slowcooker!

The cat left me a headless wonder this morning...

When I was about 7 my cat left me the head of a mouse by the side of my bed. I found it by stepping on the gooey side with my bare feet. I think I gave my father a heart attack when I started screaming at the top of my lungs.

Well, how ridiculous is this! Hubby got the text about the funeral. He forwarded it to me. We BOTH read it as being today, August 12. (The man died on Aug 5th, so it made sense...?)

We got all gussied up, drove an hour out to the church. It is NEXT Monday! We both read the same text. Came to the same conclusion.


We know where it is now, anyway...
