Chilly day today. I'll need a fire eventually.
Have 3 chicken carcasses simmering since yesterday to make a batch of bone broth. I'll use some in a batch of roasted butternut squash soup later.

Just got back from my veterinarian's home. He collected a urine sample from one of my males. His sire is the dog euthanized with prostate cancer a couple of year ago. Possible problems include: prostatitis, prostate cancer, bladder stones, bladder cancer. When you have animals, it's always something.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee!
Book group went off without a hitch. I was gone longer than I had anticipated on the doc appt run, (somehow there was a "moving a new queen mattress into a 2nd story apartment event" thrown in there that wasn't too bad, LOL) and my sweet DH was vacuuming the living room when I got home. I busted out the rest and had the pizzas hot out of the oven when everyone showed up. DH ran and hid upstairs...
4 to 8 inches of snow Sun. night...
It's a weekend! DS$ wrestles tomorrow in AR!

Good morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee! A cloudy misty one today in the Pacific Northwest. Still no frost yet this fall.

I'm so sorry about the pup. That is a really hard thing to go through.

We are trying to nurse our 28-year-old pony back to health - he has laminitis and a few other health issues cropping up. Thankfully I live in a family of vets, so they're working hard. At his age though, some of the things he is dealing with don't have a great prognosis.
