It is a multi Pot-o-Joe kinda day anyway!
It is a little chilly here but the sun is out.
I will be at the hospital for pickup around noon.
They have "upslope" and "the models are not in agreement"
for the storm coming in on Friday, which means stock the firewood, water, feeders, and make soup!

Sorry to hear about the cat. Did you ever get a rifle, as you'd mentioned?

I did. I still haven't fired it and I still haven't euthanized anything.
The cat died under my mudroom. C and I will get it out when I get home from work.

It's out. I wrapped it in a contractor bag and stuck it in the freezer with the dog food. Garbage collection isn't until Monday and the weather is supposed to warm up considerably over the next several days.

It's supposed to warm up nicely today. I'm sore from working in the garden yesterday. I'll take it easier today and also make a trip into town. I need to get a lot of errands done before hubby takes the car to Charlotte, NC, next Tuesday. I can drive the Jeep if I need to. But it would be nice not the have to cram all of them into next Monday.

Yesterday was a long day. I got back home around 7 pm because the hospital discharge took much longer and my friend had had a rough night with a morphine incident, brand new aids as help, and one egomaniac nurse person. LOL!
I stayed with her at her house until I knew that her care person was good to go and not being stressed out.
So now, DH and I are off to do a MORF run and maybe move some cottonwood pieces with a tractor and then come home in time to watch it start to snow...now 10 inches predicted. Oh, now 14 or so.
I think I will stop checking...

Good Morning,

It is Easter Friday morning over here..just 7:28am. The air is cold and sunshine is coming out. I am having a nice cup of coffee.

My mom's bathroom renovation is almost done, just another week to go. They remove the bathtub and turn the whole bathroom into a shower and wheel chair access as well. This will save my mom end up in the nursing home. It is very difficult for her to access the bathtub.
This bathroom renovation started in August 2024 with getting people out to do the quote....The actually work only started 4 weeks ago.
I am so relief now that it is near finish.

I am starting to think about myself, I might need to get my bathroom renovation done soon as thing will get more expensive. I have a bathbub and for the many years I live here, I only use it a handful of time.
