Ick we have the opposite problem here. It got hot for a few days, high 90s with a heat index of 110. My garden is parched. I tried to get out each evening to make sure everything got watered but I think my peas are about done. It is supposed to cool down a bit finally, looking forward to more seasonal temps.

We're looking at run of 100 to 106 next weekend for 5 days. Hope the forecast is wrong, since I won't be here and DH will be watching the birds.

Good morning, busy weekend. Today the boys need to go to the vet for their shots. Always a fun time. And I am now the referee as our ancient cat and my daughter's cat (who is visiting) and trying to see who is in charge. Because I need one more thing to deal with.

And I made a strawberry rhubarb custard pie for dessert last night. Oh, my, it was better than I imagined!

Lol is that possible? To curb an adventurous child's desire to fly? My father and his brothers built an "airplane" out of a wooden crate and 2x4s. They were going to do their inaugural flight pushing it off the roof of the house with their youngest brother inside it. Fortunatly Grandma caught them

Yeah we didn't think we would fly, more like glide to the ground. It was always surprising when it did not work.
