Horses are settling in. No more squabbles over the fence so I think they can all be turned out together. At least these four. They get their feet looked at on Monday and then reality sets in! Mid July....by Mid-Oct that will be 90 days and then I am thinking he can head down the hill for the winter so I can keep him going on trails and such. That is the foggy plan anyway....
 
Good morning, back to work today....more coffee....

The plott hound had surgery last week to remove a baseball sized fatty tumor from his chest. Vet said it was a little more involved than he was expecting, not sure what that means. All was well until Tuesday, he developed an infection or possibly a reaction to the stitches. There is now a gaping hole about the size of a quarter on his chest. Looks gruesome, but the drainage is clear and there is no foul odor. He is currently not impressed with the cone of shame.....


Sorry! Hope he heals up fast!
