Peaches starting to get ripe already? I know the Flathead cherries are coming ripe, along with the huckleberries maybe just getting started ripe. I love peach pie, it's one of my favorites!

Oh no, I think she just got peaches from the store, not really sure where she got them from. But she saidsaid they were starting to turn mealy and some were half normal half mealy and even her almost 2 year old daughter biggest peach eater in the family wouldnt eat them. She had like 8 peaches. So she figured they taste delicious in a pie and made one. Then brought it over to my uncles/her dads for dinner since their family cant or shouldnt eat a whole pie. My cousin made it. It was delicious. It had one of those nice latice crust tops. Gosh it was good. I had never had peach pie before. Unfortunately they had already left when i tried it :(

Good morning, Café folk.

Morning! I see that your chair didn't disappear over night again.....good thing. Thanks for the coffee. Tilled the unused weed patch part of the garden yesterday and threw down some alfalfa seeds. Maybe that will give the weeds something to think about.

I am heading out for a ride at 8, while it is still cool and then who knows what the day may bring.
Have a wonderful day you all!

Coffee is good this morning , I think that your local rabbits will think about that alfalfa and like it!
OFW, it looks like you got more rain, did you find that weather witch yet?

I use these cheap dish tubs/pans from the dollar store, and float frozen plastic soda bottles in them. Have the outside 'fridge half full of them and rotate them as needed.
The birds like standing in the chilled water.
Good luck with your critters!

Nice! My chickens just get mud puddles in the shade. They lay in the damp dirt in the afternoons.
