Morning folks! I got so happy with the coffee, I forgot to let the birds out.

Morning! Thanks Henny. We have not gotten much rain out of the monsoon, yet anyway. It is going around us in all directions. I think that weather witch is vacationing at the local campground.......
So like I don't have enough stuff to do, I do need to have cataract surgery in about a month. It will be like a mini vacation, no lifting or dusty conditions for a week or so.
DS# is back from MT ; I will put him to use for the chores before he heads off to school. DS@ is heading back out to the Beaver Creek Fire and I am hoping he can make it back for a family wedding this Friday. DS! and family are coming up from AZ so I will get my share of Grandkid snuggles. She is not a baby anymore and old enough to take offense at that word.

WVC & Phil and any other duck person out there, I have a duck feeding question. What do you guys feed your fully feathered out but not yet laying young ducks? And after they start laying what do they get?

I feed mine "Flock Raiser"
Or Layena with oyster shell.
They lay better eggs with layena .....more eggs and whiter shells....my only concern was if layena with the extra calcium was bad for my Drakes kidneys. So i switched back to Flock Raiser.

Also I feed mine snacks all day long.....yes my ducks are spoiled.

They get a ton of....
Bananas....Cukes.....lettuce....popcorn....etc.

Good Morning....yes, I know, I'm rather late. But I couldn't resist sleeping in just a little bit. I'm still,tired from the berry picking last night. I now have FOUR ice cream pails of blueberry goodness in my refrigerator. I think I have enough. Blueberry muffins on deck for tomorrow. And a co worker told me about some banana nut blueberry muffins she had last weekend while in Lac La Belle. At the monks bakery, don't know, I've never been there. Maybe Phil know where she was talking about?
But I think I'm gonna try those too!
