Prostar. I have had goshawks try and go for mine but ring around the tree tired the hawk out. Bald eagles have passed by and given a look but I am not sure that chicken is on their menu. ? I don't really know about that one. Long day and ready for tomorrow with wrestling practice and a Party!!! More friggin rain ad infinitum!

Outdoor run is 95%done...yay. Had an old friend from the motherland tell me it's a pity I moved away...she'd hook me up with some frizzle amuricanas she has, since I lost my Betty.

Be still my heart. She must give me pictures. Cause oh my squee. Pity she's now a border and two days drive from me.

Hubby and I finished my garden gate.
We used marbles this time.
My camera had a goofy memory chip, so I will have to get one finished and up.

I think it could be fun.

Our motto can be "give us your weary palates and used paint cans...yearning to be a gate"

I think that is what I like about it. It is free!

Once the boy goes to college my husband wants to start making his own latches and hinges in the kids blacksmith shed.
One of the people he works for has horses, so maybe we can get some shoes for hinges.

Hi everyone

Sorry to hear about your loss, Prostar. Vey sad indeed.

I have been busy packing. I have about a million boxes scattered around my home. At first I thought this meant I am a very organised person, but now I realise it just means I am a very disorganised person who is in possession of a large number of boxes

I have connected and disconnected power in the appropriate places today and we collect keys on Friday, with moving day being Saturday. There will be a gap (probably from tomorrow) where you don't hear from me for a week or so, but don't worry, I'm still about. Just buried in a pile of boxes somewhere! I'll get back on once we hook up the computer at 'the other end' of the line!

Everything else is ok. We have ended our agreement for the cat-pee soaked house and my head has healed well. I am a bit stressed but hey, I'm in the middle of moving, so I'm allowed to be! I can see light at the end of the tunnel so it will all be ok

Krista, I know if it were possible we would all come and help your move. I feel the same as you, I am just disorganized with a million boxes. My son is the same he moved several years ago and still hasn't unpacked several boxes. Who knows what is hidden in there? I guess by now he would know if anything had been perishable.

That is a wonderful gate!! You could roll with that idea for sure.
I am also totally disorganized with no excuses. None. Eventually, I will get caught back up with the general mayhem.
