BYC Café

Morning! This is interesting to have one corrected eye and one that still needs a contact. Wearing glasses is quite something! Oh well, guess I will just have to drink coffee and sit here.
Glad your birds like the new coop, Susan.
My DS! is flying in on Friday. One of his buds from HS died the other day from alcoholism. Very sad and unfortunately, not entirely unexpected. The boy had even congratulated my son on the birth of his second daughter, so there is some pondering and growing up that DS is working through, yet again..... Sat is the memorial and I think the whole mountain top for a 100 miles is going to be there.
Well, I have a to go feed the sheepies and chickens. The horses are off the list until Sat. No dust and 15 lbs lift limit, that is like my cat, well maybe after a good meal cat, sheez.
Coffee!

Good to hear that the eye surgery went well. A 15 lb cat? We have one around here that weighs at least 20. We think he may be part Maine Coon, because he is HUGE, but has short hair . . . but he's fat, too.

(fortunately, he likes tummy rubs. Good thing, huh?)

So sad about your DS's friend. I sometimes wonder if the people who say, "it's my life, it's my body, I'll screw it up if I want to," could see all the hurt they cause and the damage they do to the people who truly care about them, could they continue to be so selfish and self-destructive? I dunno . . . . you can't rescue someone from themselves, they have to want to be helped . . .

Friday, I'm believing your results are gonna be good this time, too.

Edit to fix brain fart

Morning Sirs and Ladies! Thanks for the coffee!
I don't know, sometimes brain farts add a bit of adventure to the scene...... They can't be all bad.

I do know that they can add a bit of excitement to a otherwise normal trail ride along the river. One small brain fart by a rider can spread to their horse and then to the horse ahead of them and then to other people. The next thing ya-know somebody is swimming and cussing in the chilly river, all over a slightly shook up can top popping abit too loud.

People can get so jumpy when a horse or two snorts and hops around abit.
