Yes Methodist University is a nice not so small anymore school with river access to kill for.
I am a few min's up the road and around a few corners into the woods from there.
You should see what they have done to it in the last 10 years, very nice.
Big/full sized horses do eat alot of feed.

I go thru about 50 big rounds here.
Have a good day and stay dry!

If MU knows how to contact them, alumni get regularly updated/solicited for donations . . . so yeah, I've seen pictures, anyway.

While we were in school there, Critter had a summer job as the naturalist at Raven Rock State Park near Lillington. Can you believe he usually rode his bike to work? Ah. for the energy of youth, eh?

the minis were my favorites

Oh, I loved my minis...........

We could use some of that rain. Guess we will have to wait until it floats around again......
Morning! In the middle of doing the eye drop routine before going to get some hay. We are getting some of the big bales for the horses today. Don't know how many loads we will get through but we need about 60- 750lb bales and I am not sure how many will fit on my friend's trailer.
The coffee is mighty fine in this place but I need to go do another eye drop because the timer went off.
Have a great day!

Sounds like a fun day.....said no one ever, but there is something to be said for the feeling you get at the end of the day when you see that nice supply of hay sitting there and knowing you have what you need. Something tells me in the next few weeks I'll be making a trip down to my sister's place to help them get their winter supply hauled home and put up in the barn.....

The 'energy of youth' is wasted on the young.

So true, so very true............

We try to ride Raven Rock at least once every year, nice little park.
I wish that I had even a quarter of what I had back in my day.

Quote: Sir Sour, I have to agree with you, I think that the whole 'youth thing' is wasted on the young.
