Friday Morning and no rain so far. Schools are closed for the 2nd day because of over-washed roads and bad bridges.
Getting to town is doable,but you have to zig-zag your way around the bad areas.
Maybe it's a good thing that this is Friday and water can drain down for 2 more days before the work week starts again.
Both pots are going so help yourself.

Morning! Glad for the coffee as we are getting some light rain here too. We got in half of the hay yesterday. Not sure what the grand plan is for today. Maybe some housecleaning is in order. More coffee is needed to continue the pondering......

Had one frog strangler already this morning, and am hearing rumbling announcing the approach of round two. Definitely a wet morning here.

The coffee's good . . . maybe I'll have another cup, and just sit here and watch it rain . . .

We were supposed to get rain last night, but the big thunderstorm they were warning about broke up before it got here. We did get enough to settle the dust though, so I'm not complaining.

Thanks for the coffee! House cleaning is on the agenda for here as well.

On a Saturday dank and dreary I've made the coffee for all. Have at it. Grandson is playing baseball today and first game was at 8 AM. We passed on that game because of the wind and rain and will go to the noon game instead.

We have a nice sunny morning here so far. I hope that the day don't go like Friday where we had two different quick shots of hard rain that totaled just over an inch, and after all of that water on Thursday, it's still REAL wet here

Cloudy morning here, even a little foggy at daybreak (humidity through the roof thanks to about 2" of rain yesterday morning). Keeping a very close eye on the tropics today.

Absolutely gorgeous day here on the first day of the Balloon Fiesta. Almost no wind, so many of them landed at the school a few streets away.
