Thanks Scott

Hope it dries quickly for you.

Thanks TK, but quick would have been last week, it seems that nothing about Matthew has been quick.
Quote: Freezing depth is not an issue here, I just like to have my underground stuff about 20 inches or so deep to avoid driveover or somesuch damage and digging critters.
I want to bury at least 2 feet of the freezeless yard hydrant so it don't wobble too easy.
I'll find something else to do.

Good luck! Glad you don't have to worry about freeze issues.

We did ours at camp back in May. I think about 250' we ran water and electric. Not fun to deal with, but its worth it once you get it done.
Power isn't a problem at home, but I still want to run an underground water source over to my coops. Carrying water in the winter is a pain.

Good morning. Up early today, have to start decorating the cookies. I am thinking it will be a multi cup coffee kind of day.

It seems that water has been causing problems for a number of us in one way or another. We have spent $1600.00 just last month on our driveway because of all the washouts. Immediately after the work was done, and before we could get grass and hay down on the sides, we got another downpour, and had to fix the mess AGAIN? That's all it's been this year. Thankfully the ditch they dug in saved the driveway, but everything else was a mess.

Of course, there is the guy down the road who has his entire bridge go, he can't drive his car to his house, has to park on the highway. So I guess I shouldn't feel too bad, it could always be worse!

WVC, is that a phone/data line I see in the trench along with power and water lines?
That is thinking ahead!
I run a 3/4 inch compressed air line along with power and water lines. I do like having air for my tools without hooking up 100 foot or so of hose and then tripping all over the place.
Wiggles, I know what you mean about the rain washing away stuff

It looks like it just might be Wednesday (Humpday) Morning and still no rain.

Both pots are ready, enjoy!

Morning Scott. Humpday, yah!

Compressed air line sounds like a great idea! But I think that's just an extra power line for the future barn and anything else he decides to put down there. I think the conduit has a strand of rope in it, that can be used to pull something else thru later too.
