Rather cool this morning; I saw frost. It wasn't quite cool enough for it to appear on the grass, but on areas slightly above the surface (like the manure pile) ice crystals formed. Can I be the first to say, "frost on the poopkin?"

OH YA that innocent cat, rolling over like a dog to expose his belly. Dying for you to reach over and scratch it. Claws moving faster than the speed of light, rake your hand leaving deep, bleeding furrows. Cat smiles thinking "I got another one!"

LOL - you have just described my Sheldon -- and it doesn't help that he has a glorious long coat that gives him the biggest, fluffiest, most irresistable belly.......the kind you just want to bury your fingers in........it's a trap, I tell ya!

DH was pretty excited this morning, the deer found the spin feeder he put up this weekend. The dogs were pretty animated about it too! He also put up my new suet feeder so the birds should be happy too.

We have one doe with two fawns that have been visiting rather regularily. The fawns are getting pretty big and were "playing" in my front yard this morning. I am just grateful that they survived and the coyotes didn't get them.

Now, the turkeys haven't been around for the last few weeks, don't know where they might be off to.

Otherwise, I'll need more coffee to get through this day, I need to catch up on the laundry!

Sounds like you have some wonderful sights to look out on through the windows now!

I did sleep in with the ooh-so-sick DW, this teacher workday, no kiddies running around and bothering them in the school.
Them youngens are home mucking up my daily routine. Good thing they are so lovable.
The who-is-where check went well, so after a cuppa I'll get the biggies fed morning chow have the day underway.

Oh, work days, great for the sleeping in, but yes it definitely throws the rest of the day out of whack. Was just informed last night that DS has no school Thursday *or* Friday this week............plus they get the whole week off for Thanksgiving.

How could I possibly be mad at this guy? It couldn't be his fault!

Awwww, he's like a short haired version of my Sheldon --- who also spends most of his life laying around on his back in that same position. What a cutie!

She is complaining about wasting a good paid sick day being too sick to do anything.

That is the worst, lol.

But there are a lot more moderates in the US than extremists,but the media will only focus on the radicals. Most of us will go on with life as usual.

I have avoided reading news/newspapers on line and NOT gone on the senior bus because I don't want to hear anything that will upset me - and everything & anything will.
I told my brother when he calls NOT to say anything or I will cut him off.

Changing the time was bad enough, I will not deal with changing the guard.

No Sour I didn't go out jogging - just wheeled the garbage out to the curb, put a letter in the mail box, a few BYC posts and back to bed.
