Good morning! I have a balmy 12 degrees outside. Last week it was 62! Off to work today and then I must bake two pies and put together a French toast casserole (DS favorite). The dogs "suitcase" for camp(kennel) is packed. I don't think they are too thrilled about that, there will be no fire to lounge in front of. They are so spoiled!

Scott- I will enjoy all five days with my family. Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday of the year, and it is never a lot of work, I've been doing this for at least 10 years now, so I've got it down. It actually gets easier now that the kids are gone, DD was notorious for never being ready on time, never being packed and generally irritating her brother!

There's no such thing as a dry heat in Texas. 5 min. outside and you're wet!

I spent a year, northward of Amarillo.......that was about as dry as I recall a heat in Texas.......lol

Good morning, Café, and thanks for the coffee Scott. Speaking of dogs, daughter's dogs are doing pretty good here. The lab is a sweetheart. She could stay here forever. Now that the pugs are separated no pooping in the house and only two incidents of peeing. That's a grand improvement.

Thank goodness for no pooping and only a little peeing. I would say you have achieved balance in your life Sour. Now you might want to snuggle the pugs separately and discover you really like the little monsters.

That is exactly what the Princess suggested last night. It was Otis turn to be out of the crate, and he was peering into the living room and whining. She says, "You know they like to cuddle." My response, "What!"

  That is exactly what the Princess suggested last night.  It was Otis turn to be out of the crate, and he was peering into the living room and whining.  She says, "You know they like to cuddle."  My response, "What!"

i'ts pretty amazing how cleaar and blue a winter sky can be, after a storm like that........I would think even more so, in NM.
