Well, Kelsey, it sounds as if you had a great Thanksgiving and created memories that you will have forever.  Well done on the part of your family.

Thanks, definitely did!!

The two little girls are sooo cute. The boys are too but Grayson I think is a little bit special needs, or so they say. Personally I think he is very smart and just stubborn or something. He is only just potty trained or getting there, underwear instead of pull ups now. He would go fine in public but at home wouldn't or would only pee but they finally said enough of that.

He also doesn't know his alphabet and numbers so they say. You could show him cards and everything or ask and he won't say it or will say the wrong thing. For instance, an A is a 1 or a 2 is an A, etc. But they do think he might have a photographic memory like his dad and the odd thing is he CAN count. For instance, the day they told him no more pull ups he went down to the laundry room where they were and they could hear him count 1, 2,3, up to 17, then he ran back up and told her I still have 17 pull ups left. So clearly he KNOWS it but he can't recognize the picture of it, like what it looks like or whatever. Either he can't or he won't. But he has improved a lot the last few years, doesn't have as many outbursts now. They think having a little brother and now sister had helped him. He is a great helper and fantastic big brother. He goes to a special program too. He is also like a prodigy and basketball and can make baskets haha

But the problem is he can't start reading until he recognizes what it looks like and apparently none of the special ed teachers have seen anything like it. But they say he may be able to bluff his way through school and memorize what he needs to know but he won't be able to read it. And tests he won't be able to read it

Idk, to be able to count that high, I'm sure he'll end up as a genius and just can't read right NOW. Or doesn't want to.

They are also not home that much I think with big jobs so that's part of the problem I'm sure but the nanny is great and takes him to all sorts of stuff like swimming lessons and this nanny group, etc.

But then like one night one gave him Pepsi at 9 at night so some of it I'm sure he's a little bit off but part of it is hate to say it but them i think.

But enough rambling, sorry, i did it again haha

Anyway, they are both ending maternity leave soon but yeah. The girls are sooo cuteeee. And they dress them in matching outfits haha

I even made a group FB page

Kelsey, I couldn't read until third grade, and look at how I turned out.

Seriously, I learn differently than others do. If I were a kid today, I would be classified for sure. Many still do try to classify me.
