Kelsey, I couldn't read until third grade, and look at how I turned out.     Seriously, I learn differently than others do.  If I were a kid today, I would be classified for sure.  Many still do try to classify me.

Well that's a relief! Lol he is only 5 so still has plenty of time. I am sure he will eventually read especially if he knows as much he does

Let him learn what he will when he will, we had to do just that with one of our DD's.
