I'm back.

You have no idea how badly I have needed a GOOD cup of coffee. The B & B we stayed at had the weakest brewed coffee that I have ever tasted. They did have a Keurig that made fair coffee.

. Our induction stove top went bat stuff crazy on Tuesday. Tried to fix it through an on line repair group - they refunded our money because it baffled them. Contacted a local repair group and scheduled service for 3:30 this afternoon. Just got a phone call saying the service guy looked over our complaint and has no clue - tech support has today and Monday off so we rescheduled for Tuesday. 14 people are coming here on Monday for a post Christmas party. I do have two ovens to prepare food

It's good to see you in fine fettle after your good coffee deprived trip. I have heard from a good source that your bat stuff crazy stove top just might be due to those mynocks chewing on your control wiring and maybe even the power supply.

Morning all

I have been reading my posts back and realise that I should really read them thru before I post! all of them. I will try to be a better BYC friend.

Here I have been banging on about how hot it is and you're all so cold. I am sorry anyway it can get too hot, yesterday was awful. Today however after a lekker thunderstorm the air is clear and it is much cooler, my kitchen is not the sweat box it normally is by this time and it's still raining. Yeh....

I hope you are all set for the onslaught and wish you all a very Happy Christmas.

I for one don't mind your 'banging on' about your weather, after all we do it all the time.
How cold does it get where you are at, when you have your winter?
It is the day before Christmas, I hope that everyone is ready.
I got paid some money that was owed to me last night.
Do I go out into the madhouse and get the DW another gift or do I stay home?

Good morning folks! A little warmer here today, so that's nice. Cleaning house is on the agenda today, but that's about it!

Whoop, ramble on, it actually is nice to know someone is warm when I'm freezing my buns off!

Thanks for the coffee Scott! Can't advise on another gift for the DW. You know women love gifts, but having you home could be just as good a gift.
