It's the last almost Friday morning of '16, so let's make it a good one.
T'storms rolled thru this morning just before sunup booming everybody awake, so we have a chilly and wet morning here.

I hope that Bunny's head is back to normal after yesterday.

Afternoon all

66F here today and a bit muggy -
DDS phoned me early this morning and said he and his friends are coming for New Year,

a party. So rushed out and been cooking all day, busy trying to defrost a huge 'US' Turkey. I have never seen such a monster. Normally ours are very small but it was all I could get today. Expect it will be delicious though. Making up beds and doing flowers and and - quite exhausted so having a pot of tea!

Maybe I should move to coffee.

Pic of Yarp having an afternoon snack. She has a boyfriend but he is not as tame. I'm not sure what she will do for a nest because they normally make ones up high and they are very big. This could be a problem perhaps I can use a cat basket!! thoughts anyone

Yes, coffee is needed. The wind blew again and this time we lost power for about 3 hours, but DS$ and I were down at WPract., so we missed all of the fun. Good thing we didn't get enough snow to really drift in, but it gave it a try. I heard the Eisenhower Tunnel WB was shut down due to multiple accidents and chaos. There is a family that comes to Wpract from Leadville, whenever they can make it, and traffic was all messed up coming east through the tunnel as well. Makes my drive seem very easy. High near 50 tomorrow!, But windy.....50mph. Would that be a 50/50 chance of getting something done?

Good morning everybody. Went to work today only to find out I work tomorrow! NOT today. The dogs are thrilled, because DH will be home with them tomorrow, cutting more wood. And I am doing laundry today. And hopefully making some adjustments to the telescope so I'll be ready once we get a clear night!

I see I missed all the fun yesterday! Sir Sour, you must be pretty entertaining in real life! Margie, hopefully the wind won't cause any problems. I read your posts and think to myself, you have way more work to do than anyone else I know, you certainly don't need any "extra" help from the weather!
