Yeah, i hate ticks

Here in NJ, the deer ticks activated about 3 weeks ago. I've been spraying my dogs and my field pants daily. I've had Lyme disease and so have many of my dogs - it's not a fun thing.

I'm not really sure when they started here

Once the temps go above 32 F the deer ticks appear. When it gets hot they become less active and the dog or wood ticks appear. Then in late autumn it's deer tick season again.

Ahhh okay. That makes sense. I had no idea there were different seasons for different ticks lol

It is a normal very cool 33.1°F here at 0516 this fine dry morning.
Hoping the fruit trees and strawberry plants don't get hit too bad.

At least they are just starting to bloom and will bloom again, the plants will be ok, just we will loose some fruit.
